Creating a Server

<p>To learn how to work with the third party module, create a HTTP server that prints info on the HTTP request as showcased in the code snippet below.</p>

<p>After the line of code, we’ll save it under the name http.js to run it.</p><p>For simplification purposes, developers can declare a call to this server like so for easy access:</p>

<p>Save the file and run it from there. The output should give you a preview of the header type, URLs, and methods the server captured the request in our code.</p>

<p>A compelling feature of the request module is the ability to follow redirects without additional implementation or installation. It’s encoded so that when the URL is /redirect, it will reply with a 301 redirect response status code.</p>

<p>Some servers work worse than others and can tend to redirect in a constant loop. The requestmodule takes that into account and sets a maximum number of <strong><samp><slot>10 </slot></samp></strong>redirects by default, <strong>but</strong> you can evidently change this number if needed.
